After reaching the vast orchard, they gather two varieties of apples, fill large transparent sacks, and carry the heavy harvest back across the mountains. At home, they preserve the apples for winter using an ancient village storage method. The day continues in the garden, where they harvest a pumpkin and prepare traditional pumpkin plov inside it. The stuffed pumpkin is slowly baked in an underground tandoor while fresh apples are turned into homemade compote.
