Grandpa Risks His Life on a Snowy Cliff to Catch Quail Using an Old Trap Method

Far from civilization in the harsh mountain cold, Grandpa crosses dangerous snowy cliffs to catch wild quail with an old rope-and-bag trap after heavy snow closes every road to the village. In this remote mountain village, there is no electricity, no gas, no easy road access and no modern convenience. When winter isolates the elderly couple and food becomes scarce, their self-sufficient life depends on patience, experience and traditional knowledge passed down through generations. Grandpa travels across a snowy landscape, searches deep rocky crevices and places food inside old bag traps. From a distance, he pulls a long rope when the quail enters. Wet moss, ice and steep cliffs make every step dangerous. During filming, the cameraman slips and falls near the cliff, but the backpack on his back protects him from a serious injury. After successfully catching several quail, Grandpa returns home through the snowy mountains. Grandma cleans the birds, seasons them, wraps them in fresh dough and bakes the quail pastries in a wood-fired clay oven.
